As we approach the end of September, we're ramping things up here at Fireworks Central.
For the past few weeks, we've been sorting our stores out in anticipation of the fireworks deliveries coming in. It's been a cross between Jenga and Tetris, but we are getting there. We have also brought the shop out of hibernation mode and are now starting to open it like a normal shop. All our ducks are now lined up and we are ready... hopefully.
The problems around the world are having an impact on delivery schedules and we are expecting a last-minute rush of deliveries. everything is running late, but there is nothing anyone can do and we are all in the same boat. Welcome to the fun of firework retailing. We've deliveries coming in next week and I've been told that the last ones should be in by mid-October, so all good for Bonfire Night.
The added shipping delays have of course, had an impact on pricing with anything from 3-8% increases AFTER we've placed our orders. We've tried as hard as possible to limit these increases and our prices on our website are the final prices.
So if you get a moment have a look around our site, there are some stonking new lines and some of the old favourites coming back into stock.
For now, I'll call it a day on my typing skills and will be updating things soon.
