Let’s be honest: shipping fireworks is a logistical nightmare wrapped in red tape and bubble wrap. You can’t just chuck a rocket in a box and stroll down to the Post Office—sending fireworks through standard delivery channels is illegal, and unless your postie moonlights as a bomb disposal expert, it’s not happening.
After years of trial, error, and a few grey hairs, we’ve finally partnered with a specialist hazardous goods courier who can legally and safely deliver your firework orders. It’s not cheap. In fact, it’s eye-wateringly expensive—like “do I need both kidneys?” expensive. But here’s the good news: we heavily subsidise the cost, so the price you see at checkout is nowhere near the full whack. We absorb a chunk (sometimes all) of the delivery fee because we’d rather you spend your money on fireworks, not freight.
How It Works:
- Our checkout system now calculates delivery costs based on your postcode.
- Just make sure your postcode is correct when ordering—our system does the rest.
- Spend enough, and we’ll even deliver your fireworks FREE to most of the UK.
- Free delivery depends on order value and location, so check your cart before you start planning the party.
Local Deliveries (Within ~15 Miles of the Shop):
We’ll personally deliver your order—no couriers, no drama. We aim to get it to you within 3 days, but if you need it sooner, get in touch before ordering and we’ll see what we can do. We’re fast, but we’re not psychic.
Standard Delivery
Currently, we quote up to 7 working days delivery option for national deliveries, please note this is based on Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays, however at peak times the company DOES deliver weekends. If you need your order any quicker, then please get in touch BEFORE you place your order and we will liaise with the transportation company to see if we can get it to you quicker. We aim to get orders out as quickly as possible to prevent any delays in the shipping network, particularly during October and November when they run at full capacity.
We ask our courier to let customers know a day and an approximate time for delivery. The delivery must be signed for by someone over the age of 18. In the event of a failed delivery, the goods will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge will apply. This must be paid for before a re-delivery. so on the day of delivery please be available to answer any calls from the transportation company to prevent a failed delivery. In the event of a FREE delivery order, any re-delivery will be charged for.
We endeavour to ensure that our website stock is correct, however occasionally we may sell out of a product before we can update our website as the two are not connected, or very occasionally we may deem a product not fit for resale, we are very careful about fireworks. Should this happen, we will offer the option to accept a replacement of something of equal or greater value, or a full refund. This rarely happens, but we have to cover all contingencies.
If you no longer require any fireworks, you must inform us, via email, within 7 days of receipt of the order. Fireworks MUST be returned via specialized couriers who are licensed to carry hazardous goods. It is illegal to send explosives via normal postal methods. The cost of the returned shipping is your responsibility. Fireworks MUST be returned in their original packing (not the packing box the order was shipped in) with no signs of tampering or damage. Any damage, tampering, or other defects caused after the goods were shipped, will affect our ability to issue a full refund of the item. Please note shipping costs are not refunded.
Scotland Deliveries.
Due to recent changes in the legislation regarding fireworks in Scotland, we can only supply fireworks orders with an NEC of less than 5kg. In the event of an order exceeding 5kg NEC, we will get in touch regarding the order. Our website shows the NEC of each firework, which is calculated on your order, the weight shown is the NEC weight and not the gross weight.
