How time flies, here we are mid-July, and only 4 months to go to Bonfire Night. So I thought I'd drop a quick update on what's been going on and what's coming up.
You'll have noticed that we have gone to "By Appointment" visits to the shop at the moment. We are desperately trying to keep our overheads down when it's quiet, allowing us to keep our prices as low as we can, It's not the best, but it will reap benefits when it comes to Bonfire Night season. As we get closer to Bonfire Night, we will start opening the shop as normal.
We've been trawling all the manufacturers out there for new stock for 2023 and it does get to the point where you get fed up with looking at fireworks. There are some really great products we'd have loved to bring in, but for one reason or another they never made the cut for this year, however, who knows, we usually get some latecomers. As far as 2023 stock goes, we have managed to sort some great new products as well as some favorites coming back. We are glad to see Absolute Fireworks back in the market after a couple of years in the wilderness, and can't wait to get Grounds for Divorce back in, this was a stunning 200-shot compound that really blew everyone away. We have a great range from Vulcan Pyrotechnics this year with some great compounds and some great novelty fireworks that have gone down great over the past years
We have also made some slight tweaks to the shop layout, with some new rocket cabinets that hopefully will make things easier on the eye and brighten the shop up, plus a couple of other tweaks here and there.
Ultimately, we will be THE firework shop for your 2023 Bonfire Night fireworks, despite attempts by other shops to replicate what we do. You can't replicate the people who work here, our knowledge, experience, and most importantly our sense of humour and fun. For nearly 20 years we have been helping people enjoy one of the most important dates of the year with a smile and a friendly approach.
